Best crypto alert apps, ranked four different ways
"Best crypto alert app" has four different answers depending on what you are measuring, so 16 alert services — every one read off its own pricing page or help centre — are ranked here in four lists rather than one ranking pretending to be objective. Each states the single thing it is ranked by before the list, and obeys it: on three of the four, a competitor finishes above CoinPriceAlert.
Written by the developer of CoinPriceAlert, which is on every list below. Every competitor fact comes from that company's own pricing page or help centre, read on a stated date and linked from the matching comparison; nothing comes from review sites, and where a company publishes nothing the page says "Not published" rather than guessing. CoinPriceAlert's own figures are generated from the code that enforces them, so they cannot drift from what the app does. If something has changed, email us and it will be corrected.

Why a developer's "best apps" list is worth anything
Normally it is not. A list written by someone selling one of the entries puts that entry first, calls everything else a near-miss, and is quietly useless. The only thing that makes one readable is a criterion stated before the ranking and then obeyed even when it hurts, so that is the rule here: each list names the one measure it uses, and the order follows the measure. On the free-plan list, three services publish a larger free allowance than CoinPriceAlert and all three are above it. On the Telegram list, two are. On the main list and the Bitcoin list, two competitors alert on things CoinPriceAlert cannot, and they are first and second.
The second rule is that no number on these pages was researched for them. Everything a competitor is credited with was read from its own pages for the head-to-head comparisons, on a dated day, with the source linked. A listicle is the easiest page in the world to fill with invented pricing, and an invented price is worse than no page at all.
