What CoinPriceAlert is

CoinPriceAlert is a price-alert app. It watches market prices and tells you when a condition you set is met. It does not track portfolios or holdings, connect to wallets or exchanges, hold money, or place trades, so we never ask for or receive wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases, exchange API keys or bank details.

What we collect

• Account: an email address if you add one, or the identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google. You can also use the app as a guest with no email at all.
• Your alerts and lists: the alerts you create (coin, condition, target, repeat settings and any note you write), your watchlist, and tokens you add by contract address.
• Notification settings: sounds, quiet hours, your time-zone offset (so quiet hours follow your clock), and whether push, email or Telegram delivery is switched on.
• Delivery details: the push token of each device you sign in on, and your Telegram chat ID if you choose to connect Telegram.
• Subscription status: whether you have Pro or Pro+, as reported by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
• Basic app usage: simple in-app events (for example, that an alert was created or a screen was opened) used to fix problems and improve the app. These are not used for advertising.
• Feedback you choose to send us.

How we use it

Only to run the alerts you set, deliver the notifications you ask for, keep your account and subscription working, and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share what you tell us — your email, alerts, watchlist or notes — with advertisers.

Third-party services

Market prices come from public market-data providers (CoinGecko, Binance, DexScreener, Yahoo Finance and Alternative.me). These requests contain no personal information about you.

To deliver alerts we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and the Expo push service for app notifications, our own mail server for email alerts, and, only if you connect it, Telegram. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.

Using the website and web app

You can use CoinPriceAlert in a browser at coinpricealert.io/app as well as in the mobile apps. The same account and the same data apply.

We do not use cookies. No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies are set by this site or the web app. When you sign in, we store one item in your browser's local storage — a sign-in token — so you stay signed in between visits. It is strictly necessary to keep you logged in, it is never sent to a third party, and signing out removes it. Your browser's settings can clear it at any time.

The web app also stores your watchlist locally in your browser so it is available immediately on that device. That list never leaves your device.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not send Google any other information about you, and we set no Google cookies.

Our servers keep standard request logs (IP address, time, and the page or endpoint requested) for security and troubleshooting, and to detect abuse. These are kept for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you or shared for advertising.

How long we keep data

Account data — your email, alerts, watchlist and notification settings — is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed after a short grace period (currently 24 hours), which exists so an accidental or unauthorised deletion can be undone. Server request logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then discarded.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time from Settings, or write to support@coinpricealert.io and we will help. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Advertising

The free plan of the mobile app shows a single banner ad on some screens, served by Google AdMob. Pro and Pro+ are ad-free. The ads are non-personalized: they are requested without using an advertising identifier to profile you, and they are not targeted using anything you have given us — not your email, alerts, watchlist, notes or notification settings. Google still receives the technical information any ad request needs, such as an approximate location derived from your IP address and basic device and app details, which it uses to serve and measure the ad; see Google’s own policies for how it handles that. This website shows no ads at all. You can remove ads from the app by subscribing, and you can change your privacy choices any time in the app under Privacy & Consent.

Account & data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (alerts, watchlist, notification settings and notification history) any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or request deletion at our deletion page or by emailing support@coinpricealert.io. We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service.

Children

CoinPriceAlert is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
