What we collect

Your account email, the price alerts and holdings you create, any wallet addresses you choose to track (read-only, public on-chain data), and basic device tokens used to deliver push notifications.

How we use it

To run your alerts, show your portfolio, and send the notifications you ask for. We do not sell your personal data.

Wallet addresses

Tracked addresses are used only to read public balances from public blockchain APIs. We never request or store private keys or seed phrases, and the app cannot move your funds.

Third-party services

Market data comes from public APIs (e.g. CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance), on-chain balances from public RPC/explorer endpoints, and push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and, if you connect it, Telegram. Those providers receive only what is needed to fulfil the request.

Using the website and web app

You can use CoinPriceAlert in a browser at coinpricealert.io/app as well as in the mobile apps. The same account and the same data apply.

We do not use cookies. No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies are set by this site or the web app. When you sign in, we store one item in your browser's local storage — a sign-in token — so you stay signed in between visits. It is strictly necessary to keep you logged in, it is never sent to a third party, and signing out removes it. Your browser's settings can clear it at any time.

The web app also stores your watchlist locally in your browser so it is available immediately on that device. That list never leaves your device.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not send Google any other information about you, and we set no Google cookies.

Our servers keep standard request logs (IP address, time, and the page or endpoint requested) for security and troubleshooting, and to detect abuse. These are kept for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you or shared for advertising.

How long we keep data

Account data — your email, alerts, holdings and tracked wallet addresses — is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account it is removed after a short grace period (currently 24 hours), which exists so an accidental or unauthorised deletion can be undone. Server request logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then discarded.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time from Settings, or write to support@coinpricealert.io and we will help. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Advertising consent

In supported regions we ask for your consent before any personalized ads. You can change this any time in the app under Privacy & Consent.

Account & data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (alerts, holdings, tracked wallets and notifications) any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or request deletion at our deletion page or by emailing support@coinpricealert.io. We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the service.

Children

CoinPriceAlert is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
