150 words

CoinPriceAlert is a price-alert app that puts crypto, US stocks, gold, silver, oil and major currency pairs in one watchlist. You set a price level or a percentage move once; the condition is checked on CoinPriceAlert's servers around the clock and the alert arrives as a push notification or a Telegram message, even when the app is closed. Quiet hours hold overnight alerts until morning, bulk rules scan a whole market segment, and an alert planner built from a year of each coin's daily candles shows how often a threshold would actually have fired. Wallet tracking is read-only and never needs a private key. The free plan includes three active alerts with push and Telegram delivery; Pro is $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year. Built and run by independent developer Gurjeet Singh, CoinPriceAlert is available on iOS, Android and the web.

300 words

CoinPriceAlert is a price-alert app for people who hold more than one kind of asset. It covers about 1,070 cryptocurrencies, US stocks, gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, WTI and Brent crude, natural gas, and 14 major forex pairs, all in one searchable watchlist, so the relationships between markets are visible rather than something you infer across four apps.

Alerts are the product. You can set a price level, a percentage move over 24 hours, a 1-hour pump alert, or a bulk rule such as "tell me if any top-100 coin drops 10% today", and every condition is evaluated on CoinPriceAlert's servers rather than on the phone, so alerts fire whether the app is open, closed or force-quit and never drain the battery. Delivery is by push notification, Telegram, or both, with quiet hours and a full history of what fired. Repeat alerts re-arm when price crosses back.

Two things set it apart. First, the numbers: every coin page carries an alert planner built from a year of the coin's own daily candles, showing how often each threshold would actually have fired, and the site publishes a free CC BY volatility dataset for the largest coins. Second, what it never does: it never asks for a private key, seed phrase or exchange API key, wallet tracking is read-only through public addresses, and it cannot trade or move funds.

The free plan includes three active alerts, five portfolio coins, one tracked wallet, push and Telegram delivery and a daily portfolio report on Telegram, with no card required. Pro is $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year and removes the limits while adding bulk alerts, 1-hour pump alerts and the deeper analytics: trend and breakout detection, derivatives positioning and extended technicals. CoinPriceAlert is built and run by independent developer Gurjeet Singh and is available on iOS, Android and the web at coinpricealert.io.

Data you can use

The crypto volatility dataset is published under CC BY 4.0 with a CSV, and every coin page carries an alert planner built from a year of that coin's daily candles. The market pages carry the same measurement for gold, silver, oil, forex pairs and US stocks. Quote the numbers with a link to the page they came from; that is the whole licence.

Embed or cite this data

The card below is a live image: it updates as the numbers do, and it is free to use on your own site or in an article. Paste the snippet, which keeps the credit link that the CC BY licence asks for.
